The 3 best rock albums of 2004 in my opinion

Year 2004 was in the past, and now we are in 2005, a brand new year. Looking back to the last year, Rock music didn’t have many bright points but it still born excellent albums of the artists all over the world.
The best album, in my opinion, is Green Day’s “American Idiot”. It owns 6 Grammy 2005 nominees. Green Day had worked the whole year to fight against Bush until he won the American election. They are losers, but their music is winner. This is a steady alternative/punk album with 14 excellent tracks. My favorite ones are the hit single “American Idiot” and the nice ballad “When September Ends”. It has still been one of the best-selling albums at Amazon.com now.
The second album is Exodus’s “Tempo Of The Damed”. Exodus – the thrash legend of the 1980s – came back with a very attractive disc, which reminds us about their classic album “Bonded By Blood”. It has a hit, “War is My Sheppard” and all others are pretty good.
The third album is Pain Of Salvation’s “Be”. It is another Progressive Metal masterpiece created by Pain Of Salvation. And it has the most interesting Metal song of the year, “Dea Pecuniae”, a song that reminded us about the golden years of Rock music in 1970s and 1980s.
